Mar De Frisia Hotel - O Pino

The peaceful setting really stood out. The lovely garden and well-maintained pool offered a serene backdrop for relaxation just off the Camino. I appreciated the friendly hospitality from the owner, Almudena. She was attentive. The breakfast spread was diverse and there were comfortable beds that helped with a restful night. The dinner experience didn't meet my expectations. I found it overpriced for what was served-a simple roasted chicken lacking flavor. The bathroom light sensor was overly sensitive, often leaving me in darkness while trying to use the facility. While my stay had its highlights, there are definitely areas needing attention.

The decor was cute, but the mosquitos in my room made sleeping here a real nightmare. Woudl it have killed them to provide a little bug spray? Dinner was just a sad portion and not worth the price. A simple upgrade woudl ve been nice, yet here we are, ignored and treated like the rest. I just couldn't recommend it.

Good stay, as always. Functional and beautiful accommodation with perfect setting next to Arzua. Coffee, toast, cereals, and yoghourt for breakfast with cereals provided.

Location close enough to local restaurants, especially Roger, and the garden. Also, near shops. Exceptionally comfortable beds, beautifully maintained rooms. A good choice of good food for meals.

i didn't want to leave and would love to return. the hotel was a relaxing base for enjoying a lovely area, near to the establishment. the stay was really really nice because of the nice location of the property. the room was gorgeous with exceptionally comfortable beds and fairly clean bathroom. everything was really good, nonetheless a few employees were quite busy.

Room was nice, but the dinner was overpriced and disappointing.

It had a quiet atmosphere and the location was peaceful. The a twin room was huge and spotless.

The breakfast selection impressed me greatly.

The hosts treated me like family. I especially enjoyed the lovely home-cooked meal of grilled chicken and the well-kept garden with a beautiful pool where I could relax.

Why I'm torn on this

The grounds were fine and the saltwater swimming pool was a dream. The Spanish-American hosts were warm and accommodating.

Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short of expectations, lacking in presentation and flavor. Some aspects of cleanliness in the kitchen cast doubt on the overall hospitality.

The hotel features beautiful grounds with a well-maintained garden that our kids loved playing in. The saltwater swimming pool was a highlight for our family, nice for fun and relaxation in a picturesque setting. The hosts.

While the overall experience was enjoyable, we found the children's menu options limited.

We loved the spacious grassy area where our kids could play while we enjoyed the lovely garden and a refreshing dip in the pool. The breakfast was actually diverse with fresh coffee. Our dog felt right at home too!

In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly menu options would be great.

It was just a well-suited match for a city break in O Pino with good value for price. The helpful owner arranged a late check-in for us since we arrived after midnight without any hassle. Make sure to keep some cash for meals, as card payments weren't accepted everywhere.

My family holiday at mar de frisia was so nice. The location is tranquil and just off the camino, which we appreciated after a long day. The breakfast had a great selection and the coffee was good.

the dinner service was lacking.

This place has a fantastic vibe with a lovely garden and a clean swimming pool! Breakfast was hearty, but the sauna was out of service. I would return anytime!
